wat can i say...
when i embarked into my teaching career, never did i think i'd come back to my alma mater to teach. but here i am, for the next 2 mths or so, to make sure i pass my practicum in order to graduate from NIE!
hmm, i wouldnt want to dwell much on my culture shock as i entered the school as a teacher for the first time. wat i can say is dat, my... things really has changed a lot.. n such initial experience really makes me want to go back dearly to the school i first started to teach *wink*
but no matter, i shall take dis as a challenge to start a good teaching profile for myself, n who knows, where ever i'd be posted after practicum, the experience i 'll be having for the next 2 mths will come in handy, definitely..
more stories to come when i start to really teach. in the meantime, i've managed to make new friends, new acquaintances, n best of all, meet my old teachers n the non-teaching staffs dat have been around since the first day i started my secondary level education!
to friends n ex-colleagues of my previous sch, want u all to know, i miss ur company, things r just not the same in dis sch, but i'll try to make the best out of it! ;)

It's been a long time...
since i fell sick wif fever at 38.2 degrees Celsius. I was "bedridden" for the entire afternoon n a portion of the evening yesterday. I was oredi having some sore throat and discomfort before i played soccer in the late morning. I think the soaring heat from the noon sun as we continued playing till 12.40pm made it much worse. by then i felt my head heavy like "batu besar ada duduk...!" hehehe but i still need to drive home. by the time i was in the shower at home, i was wishing i was in bed oredi.
i tot my high body temperature was just as a result of the heat i absorbed while playing soccer, but when i saw the persistently high reading after my shower, i knew i was falling ill. the usual chill feeling u get when u have fever soon started creeping into my weak muscles and aching body. i closed the room door, switched on my trusted wall fan, n closed the windows, leaving a small gap on the top louvres.
the next thing i knew i was oredi in dreamland. when i woke up, i checked my temperature to find it had oredi dropped. however the muscle was still aching. i was dead worried for my uncompleted assignments that i intended to do but just didn't have the energy to. so i had to depend on tomorrow to do them.
i was quite prepared to face my tutor in NIE n inform him that i couldnt finish the work, n would require to pospone my dateline to tuesday. well, fortunately or not, i got an MC from the Doc. he initially wanted to give me a 2 day-mc, but i was thinking it'd be better for my personal record in MOE to state i would only have 1 day MC instead of 2! anyway, there'll be no class on tues, i'd be in sch to submit my assignments, and to try complete part of my Maths assignment due dis Fri..!
back to work. a thousand apologies for the "Missing In Action" period, been quite busy... not just wif my fiancee, but oso wif my parents n tuition. sigh, im yet to receive 2 of my tuition pay which are oredi 2 sessions overdue. wat to do... ;)
